Tile Pulse Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tile Pulse handles information when you play the game.
Privacy contact: privacy@giothedio.com
Game progress and settings
Tile Pulse does not require an account. Your game progress, settings, hint balance, streak information, and other gameplay preferences are stored locally on your device. Tile Pulse does not upload this game progress to a Tile Pulse account or server.
You can remove this local game data from within Tile Pulse using Settings → Game Data → Reset Progress, or by uninstalling the app. If you use the manual backup feature, the backup text is only copied or stored wherever you choose to keep it.
Optional rewarded ads
Tile Pulse offers optional rewarded ads after the free daily hints have been used. You can continue playing without watching an ad.
The Android version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to provide rewarded ads. Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views;
- diagnostic and performance information; and
- device or account identifiers, which may include the Android advertising ID and app set ID.
Google describes these uses as supporting advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Advertising privacy choices
Where required, Tile Pulse uses Google’s consent tools to ask for advertising privacy choices before ads are requested. If Google requires privacy options to remain available, Tile Pulse provides access to those choices from the in-game Data & Privacy screen.
You can also manage or reset advertising identifiers through your Android device and Google account settings.
Analytics
Tile Pulse does not currently use a separate first-party analytics or tracking service. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process interaction and diagnostic information as described above when advertising services are available.
Sharing of information
Tile Pulse does not sell your personal information. Information handled by the Google Mobile Ads SDK may be transmitted to Google and its advertising systems for the purposes described above. Tile Pulse does not currently integrate additional advertising networks or third-party analytics providers.
Data retention and deletion
Game progress and settings stored by Tile Pulse remain on your device until you reset the game data, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Data processed by Google through its advertising services is retained according to Google’s own policies and applicable privacy choices.
Children
Tile Pulse is a general-audience puzzle game. The app does not ask players to create accounts or directly provide personal information. The final Google Play target-audience settings and advertising configuration will be maintained in accordance with the age groups selected for distribution.
Security
Tile Pulse keeps gameplay data locally on the device. Network traffic used by Google’s advertising services is protected in transit using standard encryption. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we aim to minimize the information Tile Pulse itself handles.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Tile Pulse changes its features, advertising services, or data practices. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
